Depending on the source, authorization, device condition, software support, and available credentials, an examination may identify communications, account activity, files, timestamps, location artifacts, application records, browser activity, media metadata, access events, connected-device history, logs, recoverable deleted data, and other technically supported artifacts.
Preservation, Reporting, and Testimony
AMR uses documented procedures appropriate to the source and assignment. Available services may include consultation, targeted acquisition, forensic imaging, evidence preservation, chain-of-custody documentation, technical analysis, written reporting, case-team consultation, declaration support, and expert testimony when authorized.
Important Technical Limitations
Digital evidence is not always complete. Encryption, device damage, unsupported applications, account restrictions, retention periods, overwritten data, unavailable credentials, limited source records, and collection scope may affect what can be recovered or interpreted. Technical analysis may support, contradict, or leave questions unresolved; it does not by itself determine identity, intent, credibility, authorization, policy compliance, liability, or any legal conclusion.
Confidential Coordination
We coordinate with agency counsel, investigators, and authorized personnel regarding scope, secure evidence transfer, preservation priorities, reporting requirements, and appropriate handling procedures. Sensitive evidence, passwords, and case details should not be submitted through a general website form or ordinary email.
